General Forum Who wants one?   1 | 2 Wee Scrivener Trell        5/7/2013 Ello ello! I've been plotting things for Project Teddy for quite some time now, and I've decided on a smarter plan of action now. I'm just going to up and ask the big question; Who wants a Norndoll? Also, what's your favorite color/Norn breed? Because of my current situation, I can't guarantee everyone who comments a Norndoll. It's nothing personal, honest. Just, supplies are limited (and expensive) and I can tell you I'm a bit more willing to toil for friends than people I've just met. Not to worry though! If you don't get one from here, I will still be holding contests so that others have a fair chance at one! Just a few things I should point out before I forget all together... * I sew on my own time, as I do get stressed easily. Due to my current situation, it might take a while for me to sew them up, and so I must ask for your patience. * Quantities are limited, I can't guarantee everyone a Norn, unfortunately. * I reserve the right to deny someone my services should they become demanding. * I reserve the right to serve friends first. It's nothing personal, honest. * I'm afraid I can't afford to pay the shipping fees myself, so I must charge shipping. * I don't take direct requests, since I don't always have the right fabric colors. Odds are, most of these Norns will be a surprise! * Until I can find an alternate means of payment, shipping is preferably payed with PayPal. * If you'd like one, but can't afford the shipping right now, I am more than happy to hold the Norn for you until you can! I'm having a look at Canada Post's Shipping Costs. My TCR Norns   Wee Scrivener Trell     5/7/2013 Somewhere between 400 and 500 grams, roughly speaking. Mum says it's not the weight that comes as an issue, rather the width of the package. There's something she calls the "Dreaded 3 CM Rule", where any package that's over three centimeters goes from being three dollars to seven dollars. At the moment, I have a soft green yarn, teal, white, and purple tye-dye yarn, and white yarn for hair. The closest I've got to the Pippin's coloring is a slightly mottled light green pattern... I haven't actually finished any yet, because up until a couple days ago I lacked beans, felt, and proper thread. The price is usually set by the person being paid but can be negotiable, depending on the person. Examples of such practices can be found on DeviantArt, Etsy, and the personal websites of various artisans.
