The temperature around him fluxed between extreme cold and extreme heat, sometimes to the point that it was dangerous for normal creatchis to be around him. Furthermore, he was ridiculously strong. All this power came at the price of what was one odd sort of insanity. Chaos almost never moved normally; he either lurched around like a zombie or twitched like some sort of machine. He never showed any external emotion, and if he talked at all it was disjointed and often incomprehensible. His actions had no rhyme or reason; he could anywhere from murderously violent to oddly calm, and could jump between the two extremes at the drop of a hat. Despite himself, he somehow managed to befriend and wed the lovely Rozlynn. Through her and their children, he started to become more and more aware of how strange he was compared to the rest of the world. He spent much of his life afterwards trying to find someone to explain it all to him, but try as he might he never succeeded. He was disappointed to never get an answer, but nevertheless faced death with as much calm as his warped mind could muster. As he died, he demonstrated one final ability: he curled up and transformed himself into stone. |

Chaos's investigation is cut short when Marian pulls away. He doesn't show any external reaction to this, instead simply following the nornchi with his eyes as she climbs up a nearby tree. He is silent for a good while in response to her question. Eventually, however, he gets up and starts slowly lurching towards the tree she is parked in. "I...AM...madNESS...." He continues onward until he standing right at the base of the tree's trunk. Pulling back a fist, he continues, "I...DO not...UNderSTAND...." Moments later, the tree's trunk is reduced to nothing more than splinters as he drives his hand through it, looking no worse for wear in the process. "I...deMAND...ANswers...!" | |||||||||||||||||

Marian looks into his soulless eyes, and immediately regrets that. She is filled with a sense of dread, and looks around for a way out. While she does this, Chaos starts stroking her. She feels the cold slowly chilling her and backs away before any real damage is done. Marian is to dense to just run away, so she climbs up a tree to get a better look at him. From up there she calls out to him, voice shivering from the cold: "Who.. what are you?" | |||||||||||||||||

Chaos returns Marian's glance with a terrifyingly blank stare of his own. If he is feeling anything at all upon seeing another creatchi, he doesn't show it. Given what sort of being he is, it's not even certain he can even feel emotion at all. After Marian introduces herself, he is silent for a few moments more, before lurching towards her with a three-legged gait with his right arm dragging on the ground. As he draws near, the temperature starts to drop. He stops a mere few inches away, before the right arm that appeared nonfunctional slowly reaches for her face. Despite the ominous gesture, the outstretched fingers on his hand appear to show that he is not actively trying to hurt her. Indeed, he simply appears to be learning more about her by gently stroking her, if his currently freezing skin doesn't give her frostbite first. Throughout the whole affair he remains completely silent. | |||||||||||||||||

Marian looks at Chaos confused. She's never seen a Creatchi like this before! She waves at him happily and introduces herself. She hears a rumbling from somewhere, but figures it's not as important as a neat looking stranger. | |||||||||||||||||
