Water Weed Growth 01 Sprites Jesseth | 1/9/2015 | 6 | Another first prototype of some plant sprites - this time it's a freshwater aquatic plant. c:
The idea with this one is it's a totally standard plant/weed in every way, except three of it's life stages have short frame animations, to make them bubble and sway for an underwater effect. There would also be a not-included death sprite in the finished thing most likely. |

@laura yeah it's the very first frame, or frame 0! <3
aquarium-type densa plants, the generic tank weed most people are familiar with, don't flower like their wild relatives, but instead reproduce by budding off, and when those segments branch out or break off, those become new plants<3
since that can happen from literally anywhere on the plant, there's no restrictions at all on how you'd code them 'seeding'! You can play around all you like or even just code it so it's efficient for the game mechanics.

It's the only bud-looking-thing I have in my folder, so I guess so. I wasn't sure whether that was meant to be a bud or just the first stage of growth, though. Sorry, it's been a while and I didn't take too many notes on this project. :C

It's the only bud/seed-like sprite amongst the files you sent me, so I'm guessing that's the one?

If I remember the details right, I think this plant reproduces by budding, but I can't remember whether it was meant to be frame 0 or not.
I'd be happy to see it turned into either. I prefer patch plants myself, but that's just me. I'd leave that decision to Jesseth.

Jesseth/Kezune: Is there meant to be a seed sprite for this water weed (Kezune: Or is it frame 0?)?
Also, do we reckon it should be a conventional plant agent, or should it be a patch plant?
