Wolfling Run Jungle Terrarium Screenshots RisenAngel | 12/14/2013 | | The current appearance of the Jungle Terrarium, for Phase 3 of my grendel wolfling run.
The idea was to make it an area where the only food sources came from patch plants/potted plants/vendors, but unfortunately the Jungle Terrarium is not very conductive to the background patch plants (there's only two small areas where patch plants can be placed and not look odd), so I had to throw in a bunch of other things, and it still doesn't look "complete."
Anyone have suggestions as to how to fill this room up and make it look nice? |

It's probably you already have this pack considering the mushrooms, but the TP2DS stuff would work well. Unless you have 'magic words- cloning' to pick up the plants with, you'll have to pick the seeds off the meso floor though.
Trollop's butterflies - they need flowers, Solohan plants should do the trick.
'square root' and 'yummy seeds' -these will fill up the metaroom and the seeds settle on platforms.
Edash's plants Again this is a bit of a 'pick up the seeds' job. The 'tropical plants' need to have 'the tropics' metaroom installed though.
Frogs their edible, jump out of the pond and 'look nice'
Tea Time plants they may not look...that jungle-y, but they're nicely drawn and good for those higher platforms.

Food seems very easy to find here..

You could always add some of the Hardman norn plants. These might work in the upper right corner, though the plums might bounce into the other parts of the jungle. The eggtree thing also doesn't look to bad in the jungle.
Also butterflies. Can't go wrong with loads of butterflies fluttering everywhere.

How about some garden box carrots and a couple of tea time plants?

How about trying Bug's 'Hakuna Matata' log?

If an ecosystem managed to come out of it, then that'd be nice, but it wasn't the goal. The goal was to make the place look nice while simultaneously providing enough food to prevent mass grendel die offs while at the same time making said food a challenge to find. The grendels aren't carnivores (at least not yet; they might be depending on what breeds I decide to throw into the mix), so critters are unimportant.
I tried using the tree stumps, but not only is fitting them in difficult (the jungle terrarium has very uneven terrain, making most of the stumps look odd), they don't offer that much room to put patch plants on.

Were you planning on much of an ecosystem?
