Something Went Very Wrong... Screenshots Nutter | 6/27/2013 |  | Not in and of itself surprising, this is C3, after all. The yellow thing in the middle of the screenshot is (I think) the lift from The Lost Cave metaroom. It installed OK, though I don't know if the lift had been used successfully. A couple of Flora Norns triggered it, and ended up on the splash screen (only one was visible) didn't get a shot of that, unfortunately! The other metarooms installed were Veridia and Devil's Reef. Fortunately it was only a test world; it now seems to be munged. |

@Liam and Moe: Did you fix the bugs I mentioned this topic, and if you have have you actually uploaded the fixed file?

It just happened again in a different world. Couldn't see the affected norns at all this time, although the game let me export them, and they re-imported ok.

It does the same thing on my game... Doesn't bother me too much but then again I had norns appearing in the hidden title screen along with toys and food... really weird.

It didn't take the norns to the meso though - they got dumped on the splash screen! I really wish I'd got a picture of that - they looked so confused!
It might just have been an error with this particular world, though - I've got the cave installed in a different world, and tested the lift in that and it seemed fine. I don't know if the problem was a random glitch or if it could be a conflict with one of the other metarooms. It might just have been something buggy in that particular world; it had been running a while.

It's not a bug, it's an unintended feature. See how it takes your Norns to the Meso? How many lifts can traverse all of time and space to bring your Norns home? Hmm?
Kidding... I second Liam's comment. Can't fix what isn't pointed out.

I thought that was just an engine glitch- I've had it happen with lifts from other metarooms before.

Grendel Man, I fixed all of the bugs you reported last time; are there further ones that haven't been reported? I can't fix them unless someone actually tells me. I ran several generations of norns through it before I released the last version, and it all worked fine.
If there are problems with rooms I maintain, I need to know so they can, you know, be fixed.

There were about 15 norns in the world, and two in the lift (who then ended up on the splash screen). The lift ended up doing an eternal vertical loop in the meso, in the way mis-injected lifts used to do in C1. It was quite nostalgic.

I usually use the Lost Cave and this is actually the first bug related to it i've ever seen.

Ah, ok - that's good to know. Won't use it in the Tag-Team Wolfling in that case. A pity, because it's a beautiful room. Do you know the cause(s) of the bugginess?
