Draconian Pigment Bleed Values Screenshots KC11 | 6/15/2013 | | I decided to create all the possible varieties of Pigment Bleed gene, with one gene, for Draconians. Left to Right is Rotation 0 to Rotation 255, up and down is Swap 0 to Swap 255. In the center is Rotation 128 Swap 128, or the base Draconian breed. If there's enough interest I will make a second one of these with the added value of two Pigment Bleed genes instead of one. |

Looking forward to the next one - pigment genes are a bit of a closed book to me at the moment.

This was supposed to show exactly how little changing one pigment bleed gene does.

byebyebue - It would be very noticeable if done better. ylukyun - Sadly no. She's in the adoption section but her file doesn't work.

The pigment swap isn't as noticeable as I had thought it could be..

Do you still have a copy of her?

Yeah, haha, that gal was the product of C3's ever oddly mutating color genes. And the dDNA bank.

I found you need somewhere between 4-6 pigment bleed genes before the effect really starts showing. Anything more than that and you get "acid" or "ghost" patterns. (Like the Norn in Karias' avatar below.)

Wow yeah, hardly anything. I've learned that if you want true color, change both values to the same number.

That's why I'm going to do the Two Pigment Bleed ones. That's where things can get pretty interesting.

They don't look that much different actually. Mostly slightly brighter or darker shades.
