A possibly extinct breed that only had head sprites? I'll admit I'm attracted to the idea of trying to remake the Verharke Priests (or something like an homage or in spirit) with new images and genomes if the originals can't be recovered. The last time I tried to make a breed was almost a decade ago and I only finished the heads... But this is literally just heads because that was the breed's gimmick! |

@Nox I sent them an email the day I put this image up! I did include to ask if they had the original breed, and whether or not it would be ok to do something like this! I haven't heard anything in the last week+ and I'm not sure that they're not long off the radar, but it doesn't hurt to try c: | |||

If someone plans to contact Kithugi (provided that the e-mail address on file is still valid), I don't think it could hurt to request permission for release of the original breed...unless, of course, the files were damaged/lost/deleted. I know that at least one other person besides me has requested information on the Verharke Priest Norns on the Lost Download thread in the Help section of the forum. That being said, I think you've done an excellent job of capturing the look of the Verharke Priest Norns. Hm...the idea of attempting to reconstruct an extinct species of Norn is reminiscent of the efforts of some people here in RL to "reboot" extinct animal species using DNA from preserved museum specimens. I smell a potential backstory for your norns... | |||

It's a nice idea, and the new head design looks lovely! Is it worth trying to contact Kithugi to see what they might say about it? We still have an e-mail address for them on file.

Your starting sprites are ultra cute, and the idea of reviving an extinct breed sounds pretty exciting to me! If you can figure out HOW to do it, you totally should. | |||
