 | I... forget why I even turned the Sky Sanctuary into an ocean. Probably because I'm a bit bored with the other water metarooms. The plan is to link it to other water metarooms, mostly because it's a bit small on it's own. |
 | This is another picture of my garden with butterflies! |
 | Aww, looks like my little Norns love the flora in their home. Thanks to Laura and Darby for creating the roses. ![[heart] [heart]](/images/smilies/heart.gif) |
 | This was once a nice big tree with a few scattered bouncing plums... |
 | Just a quick mini-teaser of the metaroom I'm currently working on. I got two days off coming up and I plan on working on it like crazy during those two days. |
 | This is a sneak peek of the genetic breed I am making. |
 | Roses are red, violets are blue, give them a sniff, you'll get frisky too! Coming soon to a Meso near you.
Thanks also goes to Ghosthande for her photography skills. Getting those Norns to co-operate wasn't easy! |
 | This is what happens when you leave the door open in the Norn Terrarium, and let the hoppities go wild. I was busy elsewhere, came back, and saw THIS infestation!! No Mini-Copier involved here. |
 | Oh no! Looks like the mad Ettin is going to splice a Grendel and a Doozer! Would it look like this or this? |
 | Okay, so the greens look more like malachite than jade and I had to use grass instead of the sand dunes to cover up the underground part of the stone column. The title works to a point. ![[nlaugh] [nlaugh]](/images/smilies/emot_laugh.gif)
A shot of the a work in progress being made out of boredom and frustration. The world is undocked and has three 3rd-party metarooms: The Hub, C3 in DS Aquarium, and C3 in DS Ettin Desert. There's one pretty obvious thing about the Ettin Desert; its been made livable for the Colortrue Pearlmaids that retired there. Most of the metaroom is salt water except for the topmost level on the right hand side of the decorative stone divide. The little "pier" on the opposite side gives the Pearlmaids an excellent launch pad for swimming off into open water, instead of just falling straight down to the level below. The entire batch, some of them pictured here, were also clever enough to use that same outcrop as a landing strip for when they wanted to go to land and very stubborn about using elevines!
It is this observed stubbornness that has me thinking about expanding on these changes to this room, and to make some changes to the Aquarium as well. |
 | Ettins? Yes, Ettins. Just a lonely little colony trying to eke out a living in the damp caverns beneath the harsh ice and snow, while the Norns and Grendels maintain their epic rivalry. |
 | The rivaling kingdom, located deep in the icy mountains of Chione. Ruled by the legendary Banshee Grendel, Mordred, the very thought of this frozen fortress strikes fear into the hearts of the Nornish kind. What other evils lie in wait beneath the snowy surface..? |
 | I'm having way too much fun with the Garden Box. Veridia is now a Treehugger kingdom, ruled justly by Guinevere and her dear Arthur. All the leafy little Norns and Nornettes can frolic about in the lush paradise, without a single care in the world, munching bouncy fruits and hugging trees. (Besides, the Grendels have taken over Chione.)
What's that? Physics? Bah physics! The sky is the limit; literally! ![[nsunglasses] [nsunglasses]](/images/smilies/emot_sunglasses.gif) |
 | This is another old screenshot I found, and I think I named the Norn after my best friend. The metaroom is The Burrows. |
 | I found this old screenshot digging around for some old Wolfling Run screenshots. I think what happened was the genetics kit errored and kept spewing the same egg. |
