This was a thing that I loved to read years ago back at Helen's Bibble Directory, basically as follows:

Scared you've become a Norn addict? Scared the little furry critters have sucked you in too? Want to know if there's no hope for you? We'll here is a list of common Norn addiction symptoms.
Dreamnorn also made a thread on it back in 2007:

Are you afraid that you've become addicted to Creatures games? Afraid that you've been sucked into the world of Norns as though you've been sucked into a black hole? Now you can warn people about the Norn addiction symptoms! If you want to post a symptom of Norn addiction for any of the Creatures games, then go ahead. Here's the first one:
It's a bit tricky to explain, but most of the 'symptoms' often included mixing up real life and Creatures, such as installing cable cars in your backyard, attempting to genetically engineer yourself, freaking out in denial when certain concepts in Creatures are declared to not be the same in real life and just simply being very attached to the game, among other things. I believe they were originally submitted via e-mail but I am unsure, however one thing I am certain is that it would probably make for a very nice forum game!
I'll start: You experience an identity crisis when you look at your hands too closely...are you a hand or are you a norn?
