I didn't used to hate it. It was painful, yes, but I knew their was a little reward when it would come out .
Now, though, I have lost all my old teeth and my new teeth are almost fully grown in, so I can't worry about it one way or another.

My god, it feels like I've lost mine so long ago that I forgot what it feels like to lose teeth already. Well, prolly about seven years ago, to be exact. Though I'm still waiting for those wisdom teeth to grow in. Then again, i suppose you can say I lost two teeth to root canals, back when I was 14-ish. Roooar, I'm a monster with all my tooth issues! Well at least they're straight, so i got to avoid braces
Yes, I'm the forum ... Any questions?

Me too with the losing them a good while ago, angel.
I also had four of them (all molars) extracted to allow room for orthodontic work I had some years ago. Compared to having the things wrenched out of your mouth (even with anaesthetic), them falling out naturally to allow for another set is wonderful. =P

I WISH I still had my old teeth, then I wouldn't have to worry so much about screwing them up. |

I still have one baby tooth. The adult tooth is somewhere else embedded in my jaw, and hopefully won't move anywhere!! XD

Once, one of my friends had his adult tooth growing in over his baby tooth! His little brother used to call him "Shark" because of that! XD

Everytime I lost a tooth, I'd put it under my pillow and in the morning I'd find a shiny £1 coin in it's place.
Of course, with age, I realised it was just Mum's doing. Apparently she's kept all my baby teeth... somewere. I dread to think where.
I also had a baby tooth extracted because of a cavity - having local anaesthetic injected into your jaw is not a comfortable experience! Brushing your teeth twice a day is good kids. |

My mum kept mine in some tiny paper bags.
Not really active around these parts anymore. |

I never can figure out why parents do this whole ritual. I mean, they never tell you what they will do with the teeth.

Call me werid, but I loved loosing teeth. When I was that age I hated eating (I'm sounding more screwed up by the minute, here) and I loved having an excuse not to finish my dinner. I managed chocolates ok though, heh.
I also remeber being outraged that the tooth fariy had left one of my friends £2 and another only 50p. Well, that kind of thing matters when you're 6.

I think it's sort of like a souvenir of you being all little and cute-like. My mum keeps mine and my brothers in an old jewellery box.

Hmph.
If they want souvenirs of those times, they could get out old photos, clothes, some old vidos, or anything.

Well if you ask me, you cant beat a set of teeth
Its painful growing them and painful loseing them, but somehow sweet seeing all those little white pearls years later.

Yeah.
The only teeth that don't give you plesent memorys, however, are wisdom teeth. I have not grown in wisdom teeth yet. but I have a feeling that the only memory they give you is the day they were pulled.

*grins* I always had teeth that would hang on by the barest of threads and then not come out. They could move and twist all around, and though it was mildly annoying for me, it was a blast to "show" everyone and gross them out! XD
'Course now, I have to deal with keeping my wisdom teeth sufficiently cleaned so I don't get infections (and whenever I have my teeth cleaned, the nurse always complains how far back my teeth go... silly lady doesn't have to try and floss back there every single day!). |

I've never had teeth pulled out or a brace. I have slightly crooked teeth but not bad enough to get braces on the NHS. Sod that then, I'm not paying!

Sadly, they do have problums. Like plauge and stuff getting stuck in between them.
But yeah, they are sorta cool.
I always had silver ones.
