So, I've been re-interested in Creatures breed-making, although I can't get too far in it since I don't have a Creatures-compatible system. Quite a while ago, I downloaded CJ's C2 Gene Editor. In the Options menu, it says "Hex edit always". What is hex editing?
Also, is there someplace where I can download a Word doc tutorial on gene editing? Like, that explains it? I'd like to be making more Norn breeds and I would like to know how to make my own genetics for my Creatures. Thanks! |

with Hex-Editing I am not absolutely sure, but Hex is also a way to calculate. normally it looks so:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
in Hex you count so:
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, F, 10
I think someone told me once about it.
you can also manually set the variables of the seach gene in Hex.
so you do not get a clicking system with checkboxes and all that stuff, you just get a numeric output of all genes.
