I'm beginning to think that the C1toDS learning computer is buggy, at least with one of the words it is supposed to teach.

See, I hatched a little male Banana Norn and was taking him around the garden teaching him his words, and before I could stop him he ate some baobab, and started sneezing. I walked him over to the Feverfew, picked a few and told him to 'eat flower'. But he just stood there and looked at the flower and repeated, "Flower."

I've had Norns before who were stubborn when it came to eating flowers, so after the twelfth or so time, I took him into the kitchen area and gave him some lemons, telling him to 'eat fruit'. But he just stood there and looked at the fruit and repeated, "Fruit."

This happened twelve or so times. Finally getting annoyed, and thinking that there must be something wrong with this Norn, I typed in the cheat to teach him is vocab instantly. Then I typed it again: 'eat fruit'. And he immediately wolfed down every lemon within sight! He never had any problems doing what I asked again.

So I'm thinking that somehow, the learning computer didn't actually teach him that word? Because it displayed 'eat' on the learning computer, and he repeated that word, but then later it seemed apparent that he didn't really know it.

Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a fix for it?
