Hello, it's me again.
this time I have another problem about the compatiblity of Linux to the Creatures games.
I got a C3 CD (an original C3 alone disk without DS included) and can not install it. Wine is usally quite good for such problems, but the Creatures engine is an invincible problem for it.
There was also a Yahoo Group that made an installer to play C3 on Linux without Linux CIE. sadly is the installer not longer in the Group's data base and they send you to the Gameware forum to get it. I think I needn't tell anybody why that is another problem...
and google was also no help. I found only a Linux CIE torrent, but have an original C3 I want to use.
ok, long blabla, short question:
does anybody know an alternative download link for the installer? the thing I searched has the name c3installer.tar.bz

You can just get openc2e at http://openc2e.org/

hmm, that would be an alternative, but the c3installer.tar.bz
would not need as much of my PC`s power and believe me: I must take all power I can have. 1.5 GHZ + 256 MB RAM are not much...
but openc2e is still a good idea. maybe I take it when I can not find the installer.
EDIT: I got C3 now working. it works well and runs very good. when I injected the same number of rooms into my DS was it slower.
ah, DS! the C3 works now like I said but I can not start my DS anylonger. de- or reinstalling also works not.
