Creatures Caves

This morning when I tried to run Creatures 3, it said:

"Main Directory" setting not found.

I don't know why the heck it is saying this, but I'm at the end of my fuse. I've tried reinstalling, (which is a pain in the butt because I have Creatures Exodus) copying all the files from the "My Documents" folder and even cleaning the registry. Please can somebody help me, I wanna see my Siamese/Bengal family again!
(Please don't post pointless crap either. I'm sick of people posting "I can't help you" or "That sounds bad" as it really ticks me off, and I don't get anywhere (like the Albian Years genetic files problem-no one posted any advice so the topic was locked and I ended up having to use normal C2 instead)

Edit: I've found the cause: my Machine.cfg file was deleted, but it didn't reinstall, strangely. Can someone upload it for me to download on Thursday please?
