Hello all. I read the CAOS CHAOS tutorial and I downloaded the tools needed, most of them anyway. When I tried downloading EasyPRAY the link to download it didn't work. Then when I followed the instructions on the tutorial and I opened up DS and then the CAOS tool, it said it couldn't find a game engine and told me to open up a creatures engine, but DS was already on. It's really all confusing, if any of you can help, I'd be truly grateful. *hugs* Small bird who lives here sometimes, and wanders other times. Got Creatures related content to share? google or check creatures wiki for easypray check in the caos tool's menus to see if you can force it to check for and bind to engine again, failing that see if you can open DS through it, I think you can come on now also, personally, I reeeeeally wouldn't bother with pray until you have a decent grasp of CAOS. once you're sure it works go ahead and package it, but there's no point learning it until you have something to package |

Okay, I see. Yeah...I got a little bit confused. XD Thank you, Graph. (Edit) I have some complications still. I can't seem to open the CAOS tool at all without there being the darn ''CAOS could not find a default game entry in the system registry. Please install and run a Creatures Engine game before using the CAOS Tool.'' Sorry about this, it's just annoying.. Small bird who lives here sometimes, and wanders other times. Which creatures distribution, and did you install it properly or copy/paste it from another machine? |

...huh. Curious -- usually my reaction to baffling creatures engine problems is to just start un- and reinstalling with prejudice. Hope for someone with better knowledge of the registry to come across this thread. ...just a shot in the dark, did you install the CAOS tool to the default folder? |

Default folder? Edit: Hold on, I might know why it's like this. Would it act up if I had downloaded it to my desktop and not to a folder? And if so, where should I place the file? ok, just for letting me understand: you downloaded easyPRAY and it doesn't work? you need either the PRAYbuilder, else it won't work. easyPRAY is only a graphical tool that helps you to "speak" easier to the PRAYbuilder. (I don't shout, I write shortcuts always in big letters) with the ingame CAOS control I ave no idea what happened... I could try to find the problem, force it into my game and then I try to fix it. and no, that is no stupid joke. I have all few days new DS problems. there makes one more or less no difference Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |
