Well i has run my ettin Farm for a while. And now i has my first color mutation! Green females. But it is only females having the green color not males. Why? Need the males to mutate the color to?

It would appear that your mutation is only effective on female ettins. The gene would need to mutate further to apply to only male ettins, or both. Or different color mutations specific to males might show up!
Hell, you might even get a mutation that only applies to embryos! Will it even let you have color genes on embryos? I'm pretty sure it does!
In other words, keep playing the game. |

I have the same thing in one of my feral runs-- my female norns have developed this purple color but my males don't have it. Like graph said it's just a genetic thing. Some genes only apply to males or females.

Color mutations are specific to life stage, so getting them to line up can be tricky! |

Well only 26 gen for the females be green the whole life maybe 15-25 gens more for the males for have a color the whole life. But the females are not green the whole life. The green color comes when they are adolsence. But im happy whit that. Males is gona get colors to!
And what is... Embryos?

Embryo is the first lifestage between conception and hatching; the lifestage after that is baby or newborn, I forget. |
