Genetics C3/Docking

I downloaded those Egg packs for the Bondi-Treehugger etc

I got the impression that if you installed them and hatched them that they would have the correct genetics for the listed breed.. just not the "look" of the breed...

They unzipped as .agent files though.. shouldn't there have been a genetics file or something?

ALSO
Is there a better autonamer something that reflects breed/generation/gender etc rather then just random?

Autonamer actually isn't entirely random - It names by generation. I myself love to name by breed, but don't use agents for it. I take the time to name them myself. As for you, I'd suggest making your own script.. Or waiting til someone else who knows come by. :D

And the genome thing - Yes, often agent files will decompile once you've used them. It should work fine.. Although since you got Egg Packs, it should be only the eggs themselves. It shouldn't work unless you already have the genome or it is said specifically that they are included.

btw, Welcome to Creatures Caves. :) Sorry if this does not help.

Ok I see what you mean after I opened the file.

These downloads are just confusing some coming with all sorts of files and others coming with just an agent. There seems to be no difference in the types of Norns you get. One will look different and require sprites and another just lists an agent file.

WOLFING
Im looking for an autonamer that will list breed cause I keep seeing referance to this wolfing runs but I want to see what breeds wound up in the end result.

ALSO
Is there an easier way to block off areas then using all sorts of guns at every exit?

The .agent file contains all those other files, but packaged up to make it easier to install.

I'm not sure if there is a breed listing automator, but the way to check for sure is by using their appearance genes - it will list a breed slot for each body part. By using a decent breed list, such as SeeYou7.Net's breed list, you can narrow it down to which breeds are in which slots. Hopefully you can recall which ones of those you have installed.

Hausmouse's Creatures 3 Page has a door hiding agent which makes the doors invisible.

Yea I saw a Breed list somewhere with the slots given.

It would say something like
Civits slot C
Civit Wingies Slot C

Does that mean if you install the winged Civits all your Civits will have wings?

Also sorry I see some listed as using Ettin or Grendal slots... what does that mean? Can they still mate with norns?

And what are GEAT?

Yea, they still count as norns, only they use the Grendel/Ettin slots.

Same with Geats, though the only true Geats that exist to my knowledge are Gaia and the C3/DS Shee.

ps. I haven't played Monster Raannnrrrnnchhdoggy

Yes, that's right. :) You can only have one breed in every slot, it's just that there have been so many breeds created that every slot has a few breeds associated with it.
