In my C2 world I have a few elderly and senile Norns who will not stop mating and getting each other pregnant. They're Canny Norns, if that has anything to do with it? Maybe not, but I'm just so confused... I thought that once they reached a certain lifestage they would become infertile naturally, but this isn't the case here.  This is the result of their joint effort so far:  They're old and frail... Where do they get their stamina from? Is there any way to stop them breeding and make them infertile? I can't seem to find any COBs to help, and I've tried separating the males and females but it's difficult to keep them apart. |

Wow, that's a lot of... partying.  Unfortunately, I don't recall enough of C2 to help beyond vague suggestions of keeping one or the other gender maintained with injections or altering their genomes. Perhaps invest in a wall COB to help keep the genders apart? Or keeping them in separate areas completely? If you don't already, maybe you should update or get something that allows you to pick up the norns. That or play in cheat mode all the time like I used to. |

OMYGOSH! That's a lot of eggs!Like Anduin suggested, try sepparating them. If you keep one in the treehouse and the other on the large ocean bridge, then it'll be tough for them to mate. Also, you might want to get a silent gate (http://www.cjungle.host.sk/c2cobs.html) from Freya's page.  It can be very useful for breaking up two parties of Norns (tribes of Norns in my C2 world).There's probably a CAOS code to make them infirtile, too, but I'm very busy today and I don't have time to find it. Thanks for the suggestions! I'll try out the silent gate thing and see how that works. Also, the 'Pick Me Up' COB is a Godsend.  If anybody can think of a CAOS command or an infertility-type COB, please let me know?  |

I never played C2, so I don`t know if it works. but in C3/DS you can make female norns infertile with keeping their Progesterone level on the top. maybe you can do that? (for making male norns infertile I`m not sure what you need...) Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |

ok, I didn`t look for the date. it had just a "new topic" star so I looked at it. what OS do you run on your Laptop? and when your Laptop is fast enough, you could try to run a Virtual Machine. you just need a Program to run it and a booting image. booting images can be made from original installation CDs. as I said: you could try a Virtual Machine. with a VM you boot an OS while your real OS is running. I could make a screenshot how I start Win2000 as VM while my Xubuntu is running ^^ Lets play plants! Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... Photosynthesis... |
