News Forum It's my birthday!    Sanely Insane RisenAngel    Manager     7/21/2010 Well, technically my birthday is tomorrow, but I figured I'd post it now. I've finally reached 18, meaning that I am officially a young adult. That in and of itself probably fits better in the Strangeo Forum, but there's a reason I put this here. That reason is that I made myself a birthday present - and I'm willing to share it with you all. It comes in the form of a new genetic breed: The Pacific Ettins are an aquatic race of ettins who like hoarding (and eating) critters instead of gadgets. They're quite social, and unlike normal ettins don't spend nearly all their time trying to climb the nearest wall. They breed fairly quickly, but you need to keep them underwater - on land, they're infertile. To have the Pacific Ettins appear correctly, you'll need the sprites of the Sea Ettin (Ettin S). The Egg Agent should be available from CU7 sometime in the future, but for now you can pick up two starters, Almen and Devaki, from the Creature Repository. It's a bit strange that someone named "Grendel Man" makes ettins for his birthday, but what the heck. I hope you enjoy these guys! I don't have any major plans, apart from my family going out for Italian later; but that works for me. And everyone be warned - these ettins like to eat. A lot. In my personal wolfling run in Blockworld, they were capable of driving the Water Weedgrass I put in there to extiction in a very short amount of time.
