Hello all,
I'm currently on my 4th wolflin run.
The first one i let on over night and by the morning everything was dead.
Second and 3th i kept a closer eye on and they died out afther 4-6 hours and i kept the last baby's of those exported for later.
Now i am currently on my 4th wolfling run and its going better...a lot better, a little to good tbh.
I'm currently at generation 11 with a stable 100 pop and like another 100 eggs that can not be hatched because of space limited
I'm not scattering them a bit around the world but still....why is it going so good? |

Are there any significant differences within the world itself? Maybe a mutation cropped up that altered their breeding statistics?

hhmm not sure, maybe.
I am not that good at genetics yet.
I havent made any changes to the world itself realy.
I left the grendels and the ettings in there and other then that i just hached 30 females and 9 males and left them to themselfs.
I'm going to leave it run over night now, atm i got enough eggs to last even if they all die afther 3 minutes...
I do have to say that i kept it with 4 diffrent spieces but they all have the same civet head and a random comination of civet and chichi body parts.

I didn't mean that you did anything to their genetics. Mutations can occur randomly all on their own--it's happened to me before. If, say, one of the Norns born into your feral run had a mutation that shortened the duration of her pregnancy, that would mean she could ultimately have more offspring in her lifetime. A mutation like that could explain why the population grew so much.
