The learning computer in C1 is limited. It doesn't teach the norns words such as 'hungry' or 'bored'. How the heck are they supposed to learn those words? Thy profile looks very much like that sword point, lurking in the shadows and darkness. The only one who knows your true heart are the forest spirits... ...Only the spirits.... |

Back when I first played the game, I always thought Norns couldn't learn those words. Apparently, it is built into the game, the object to teach those words just wasn't implemented in the game at its release--but one of the official add-on packs includes a book that teaches them the words the learning computer doesn't. Can't for the life of me remember what it's called, though--thought it was the Book of Nornish or something like that.  |

You could try Encyclopedia Nornica. It's very helpful.  |

I tried Encyclopedia Nornia before, but I found that many of the words weren't.... official. Also the norns kept playing with it and it was really starting to bug me. Well thanks anyway. Unfortunately, it's been too long since I used these cobs, so I can't remember a thing. Muppetboy usually dates his cobs, so I guess you should try to use the most recent, or the one which best fits what you want to do. My TCR Norns |
