When I first discovered the Garden Box's decoration options, I was really excited and kind of went overboard decorating Chione. I expanded the already large metaroom, and with the help of agents, tried to give each cave a unique flare. The Garden Box is terrific for that sort of thing. One of its strengths is is that anyone can expand on it. I've recently added several decorations myself. I want to keep expanding on the collection of decorations for the Garden Box, and I'd like your input. What kind of decorations do you want, or use the most? Do you put down platforms and use room edits to create more space for your creatures? Do you add ferns, stumps and bushes for your patch plants to grow on? Do you try to build your creatures custom-made houses, or plop down the C2 hut deco everywhere you go? Do you add umbrellas, tents or a shee statue to add to the atmosphere? Do you use the Garden Box to decorate for holidays? So on and so forth... Would you do any of those, if there were more decorations to choose from? _____ Also, if you have sprites you'd like to have made into a Gardenbox decoration, but don't know how to do the coding, I'd be happy to do the coding for you. You would receive credit for making the sprites. Note: Decorations only, please. Patch plants, critters and so forth are more complicated than decorations and beyond my skill to code at this time. More of everything! I need more decorations to do things like this in every world. I tend use platforms and walls the most, since I use them to mark any changes I make with the room edits. The C2 ones are very pretty, but I'm a bit tired of using them in most of my worlds. More tiny decorations like Mea's old vases would also be nice. Ditto the vases AND Atlas! More C2 stuff would be nice as well, actually. There's that study area with the office furniture, the gold treasure down by the Shee Statue, the desert ruins... there are all kinds of interesting elements that could be GB-ified.  |

I would like some different topiaries. They could be purely ornamental or for patch plants to grow on . Perhaps some of the more decorative ones could change shape randomly or with the seasons. You'd have to find sprites for them, though. Another idea I have is bones. There are definitely some bone sprites in CV that would make good decorations, and there are a few small bone sprites in C3 as well. I too went crazy with Chione after you put up so many add on decorations. I mostly add vegetation to give it a feel of being alive, like the underground rooms are safe havens from the much colder area above (with the help of a heater of course, which I hide behind the creatures village stove you added to gb). I also enjoy the decorations, like the vases, and the archways, etc, but to be honest I don't really use the platforms. There's not many areas where it really works outside of a rare large metaroom like Chione. |

I've been using the new decorations in the Freedom Room where I decided to let my pearlmaids loose. They certainly help a lot in making the place a little more interesting for myself and the pearlmaids! From the way that I'm looking at the place right now, it needs some bubbles! Both as architectural structures and as a single decoration that can be placed anywhere. I don't have the sprites finalized yet but I can pass them along when I'm done if you're interested into coding them for garden box. From the depths of Deep Lurkspace I emerge... And suddenly can't remember what it is I came up for. |

I don't think so either, that's why I'm just doing different sizes/densities of each structure. I've been thinking more along the line of a male betta fish's bubble nest, although the bubbles could be used for more land/sky-loving creatures too. Trees for sure, I'd like to see TheSecond's fir tree and other objects like it as GB agents. |
