Does anyone play Don't Starve? how far have you gotten? I've managed to live for a winter and half a summer, and to complete the teleportation device, never got past the first world in Adventure mode.
I tend to get lost with all the inventory management, that's sort of what gets me killed. My main problem is the furthest I get the more scared I am to load that world again! So I tend to just leave the world behind, or take a a break for so long I forget the lay of the land.

The free multiplayer game for those who owned the original singleplayer is out, so, as inspired by the Terraria thread, I thought I'd propose we might have a CC game of Don't Starve Toghether!

I've never heard of that game but it sounds cool! What's the game about?

Wait, wat?

-logs into steam-

YAY! I do have it in my library! I didn't realize they'd released it to the original owners yet. This is awesome! Also, I'm pretty good at surviving, depending on the character. I'm better at vanilla then reign of giants, which kicks my butt. Reign of giants sees me making it for a couple of years, but in regular I rarely die anymore.

When I played the original I would usually die pathetically, lol... I think I've made it just past a winter once.

It's kind of a survival game... The point of the game is mainly, well, not to starve, though there is an overarching story of sorts... You collect and make tools and stuff to help you, try to make shelter, get food, stuff to make fire (the dark at night is crazy bad...) though all kinds of other strange or nasty stuff can happen to you besides starving of course... There are a lot of unfriendly critters... and you can also go crazy yourself which is not good, you start to see things. It's extremely addictive and fun, random maps, lots of replayability... The art style is really great too... Its kind of 2-D and reminds me of the art in those old Edward Gorey books.
