This is just the first part of a poem, based on the famous 'A visit from St. Nicholas' I'm not sure if I should continue it, but I liked this part I came up with so far, so... here it is... If anyone has any comments or wants to continue it with another verse or so, feel free.
Really, we could even make a game of it and just everyone add one line or, probably better, one rhyming pair of lines at a time until it's done, but no pressure, The original poem is long... I might decide to write more on my own, but if not, I think it's fine as it is too. I might even try my hand at decorating and making screenshot 'illustrations' to go with it.
A Visit from Santa Norn
'Twas the night before Sheemas, when all thro' the house
Not a critter was stirring, not even a rocklouse;
The norns all lay clumped by the fridge with great care,
In hopes that the Santa Norn soon would be there;
The nornlings were nestled all snug in the pile,
With visions of cheese in their heads all the while.

Grendel Ma in her tree, and I, drunk on Yule Booze,
Had just settled down for a short little snooze
When out in the garden there arose such a racket,
I sprang to my keyboard and wrongly hit bracket.
Scrolling the window, I quickened my mouse,
Until my hand was well out of the house.
The light way up high in the map, with a glow
Made it always seem mid-day to objects below;
Then, what to my wondering hand I should see,
But a miniature sleigh, heading straight for the bees.
The confused little driver, by the cap that he'd worn,
I knew in a flash it must be Santa Norn.
