The brill and annoying points of Monday 24th July: Brilliant: I received a nice Christmas card with a hand-written reply from Raymond Briggs, the author of "The Snowman". Annoying: I've felt worried ever since I arranged my first driving lesson this afternoon.  |

Brilliant: Receiving a cheque for £720 - sold my digital piano on eBay. (A really nice lady bought it - she's just finished a six month course of Chemo, so I'm glad it's going to her. )Annoying: Going to the Chiropodist's and experiencing some horrible pain whilst the doctor dealt with my infected toenail.  |

Brilliant: 1. Having my new piano arrive and being given a big bouquet of flowers by the guy that sold it to me, as a complimentary gesture. ^^ 2. Surviving my first driving lesson and discovering that my instructor is a really nice guy. Annoying: Sitting through a film called "The Core" for two and a half hours when all I really wanted to do was shower! |

Brilliant: Nothing, Zilch. Annoying: Where shall I begin... 1. During my driving lesson I knocked into the kerb and punctured a tyre on my instructor's car. 2. Further on into the lesson, I was driving round the road near my house and as I was turning the corner who do I see looking me? My ex boyfriend. That completely threw my concentration, as he was in London last time I heard. Joy. |
