Creatures Caves

This is a story that was locked in my head all day at school that had to be gotten out before my brain exploded.The names of the creatures are Native American names from a name generator.
Thoughts are in italics.
Moema's dialogue is yellow.
Maiara's dialogue is red.
Wayna's dialogue is green.
Shikoba's dialogue is gray.
Minor characters' dialogue is not labeled.

It was a special day on the Ark.A Shee inventor had just created a new splicer capable of splicing many creatures at once.The old splicer had to be removed to make room for it,and in its place were four silver,bowl-like objects embedded in the floor,each with a single outlet in the bottom and a button on the outside that was not currently operational.

A Shee standing at a panel with a large green button on it yelled,"Have you got the pods yet?"Another replied with,"I just got done creating the last one!These things take a long time to create,you know!"The other Shee ran into the room carrying four small,blue,egg-shaped objects with plugs in the bottom.He plugged them into the outlets in the silver bowls,and they slowly started growing.The Shee that plugged them in told the other that the pods would take a few hours to reach full size.They both left the room after that.

A while later,the two Shee returned to find that the eggs had grown into splicer pods a bit bigger than the ones on the old splicer machine.the buttons on the bottom were now glowing red,and the Shee that plugged the pods in now had four white spheres with yellow buttons.He pressed the button on one and pointed the end without a button towards the floor.

There was a flash of blue light,and out came an unconscious male Banshee Grendel.He did the same to the other eggs,which produced a female Desert Ettin,a Gaius of unknown gender,and a female Bengal Norn.He pressed the buttons on the splicer pods,which caused them to open,and placed all four creatures inside.The pods closed and the red buttons turned green.He said,"Ready!"The other Shee pressed the green button on the panel,which caused a lot of noise,and the buttons on the splicer pods returned to their original red state.

A long tube,much like the one on Muco came out of a hole in the wall and spit out an egg splotched with random colors,as if someone had been shooting it with a paint gun.The shee that pressed the button placed the oddly colored egg in the Norn Terrarium's incubator and left.

The last thing the four creatures remembered before blacking out was a shee spraying something in their faces.They were in a cramped space,and it was getting hot.They soon realized that their bodies were moving on their own.There was actually only one body,and it wasn't moving on its own,though.Maiara the norn was moving it.She was trying to break out of the cramped space,and it was a lot like hatching.When she got out,she was in for a shock.

She was hatching!Pieces of an eggshell she had never seen before were on the floor,and the next realization that came to her was that she was inside an incubator.It quickly opened,sending her tumbling out along with the remains of the egg.She felt different somehow,and tried to move her tail,only to be whacked in the face with a large metal club.When she regained focus,she found out that the thing was her tail!She looked at her hands,and they were the hands of an ettin.Her feet were that of a grendel.She looked at what she could see of her body,and saw that it was the body of a Gaius.

"What the heck is going on?"A very grendelish voice said."I don't know,but it's strange!"A voice that could only belong to a Gaius said.Maiara looked around,trying not to whack herself in the face with her tail,and couldn't find anything.She tried to listen to Moema the ettin,who was screaming in terror through the whole thing,and found out that the voices were in her head!She thought,"Can you guys hear me over Moema's screaming?"Shikoba the Gaius said,"Yes,and I don't know what's going on,but what's important right now is getting her to shut up!"

Maiara,Wayna the grendel,and Shikoba all mentally screamed at Moema to shut up,and she immediately did so.Wayna said,"Get a hold of yourself already!That was driving me insane!"Maiara said,"Can we stop screaming at Moema to shut up and try to figure out what the heck is going on?"
