So we know that we want to avoid using the timer script to vend one item from another when the original item is being carried, otherwise you end up with a situation like this when carrying the mature carrot would cause it to make a baby carrot when far enough away from the other carrots.
I've seen some timer scripts go
doif carr ne null
stop
endi |
ie. it checks if it's being carried and then just stops the timer.
and I've seen some timer scripts go
scrp blah blah blah 9
doif carr eq null
etc. |
so it only continues with the rest of the timer if it is not being carried.
Is there a difference in performance, etc. between the two approaches or is it just a case of personal preference?
