Smile as sweet as a spring anew
Round eyes of brown or green or blue
Ears soft as a delicate petal'd rose
Enrobed in soft from head to toes
But soon as given would fate take away
An innocent soul that lived to-day
For quick is tragedy soon unfurled
To sadden and sorrow the Albian world
Cruel destiny took your away breath
For intertwined are life and death
Whether you old or sick or starved
Wounds in all our hearts are carved
Now lay down your soft sweet head
Alas you moan and lie down dead
A tear rolls down from a weary eye
And leave my breaking heart, you die
Your light feet tiptoe with delicate tread
Forever in my thought and head
Though I mourn and though I cry
A Norn shall never truly die
Though cruel fate has made you part
You'll live forever in my heart
I see you there in my mind's eye
Wand'ring softly thru Albian sky
