Strangeo Forum Favourite Petz Breed - Base or 3rd party    Carrot Beetle DragonSparke      10/10/2013 I figured I'd start a thread for people to talk about their favourite breeds! Mine, from the base game, was always the daschund - probably because I grew up with real ones! I always liked the VPZ parrots, and the astrocus from the same place. Actually, I think when I played the game a lot, most, if not all of my breeds were from VPZ.   Air Guitarist kezune     10/10/2013 I think you mean VPZ, hon. :3 I think my favorite breed to selectively breed with was the Lepitaur breed from VPZ though I'd occasionally branch out and make other things with Vickie's breedz. From the default game, I think my favorite dog is either the Scottie or the Dali and my favorite cat is easily the Calico. My favorite show breedz are probably Java's Gordon Setter and Nova's American Havana Brown. Favorite 3rd party is a much harder one to pick for me. I like way too many of them. For Petz 3 3rd party breedz, there is a jackal breed that I utterly love because it looks like a canine version of the Alley Cat. The Leopard Coon S is another one I really love, but both of those breedz I don't remember where I found them, & I am pretty certain they are long lost to the internet. VPZ had so many breedz that I adore, Sugar Glider, Manen Lynx, Manen Wolf, the show version of the Maine Coon. One of her old breedz that is harder to find now, her spotted skunk, oh how I loved crossing that breed with others to add those spots & that beautiful tail to the offspring. Corvus Corax also had loads of beautiful breeds that I love.... too many.... some of the anthropomorphic breeds were just beautiful, especially when you crossed them with each other. Utahraptor, ChromaticDragon & the Gryphon form the base of one of my favorite combos. VPZ's Devon Rex & the long lost Leopard Coon S form another beautiful combo that I love. Gahhh! Too many! Too many! I can't remember all of my favorites off hand, I'd have to look at a list with pictures to remember them all, & I don't even remember where most of them came from anymore.... Excuse me while I dig through all my old disks & files to try to find them again. This is going to take forever to find them all again.   KittyTikara     10/10/2013 My favorites from the original game are the Siamese, Main Coons, and Labradors. I can't get enough of the Coons and even breed my own non-inbred Coons.. For the modded breeds, I like the Lepitaurs the best. I don't play with them much, but they haven't left my game since I downloaded them years ago. I consider show breeds to be their own little category, and the only show breeds I can stand are the American Bobtail and the Main Coon from Vickie's site. Out of those two I like the Bobtail the best, because it's a Bobcat. <3 I'm slowly warming up to the American Curl and Bobcats from Paranoia as well. Edit: Found a mirror of Corvus Corax and now I'm going to go breed me some weird looking wolves. There's the PKC, WKC, RKC, etc. What about hexies? Can we talk about favorite hexies, too? I -love- Envy's big cat breedz and Daveena's new tigers are truly fantastic. I can't think of any other files that come to mind, though. XD Updated Rehosting Policy[/title]   Chaotic Spriter mea     10/10/2013 Ah yes, the Corvus Corax Cape Hunting Hound was another of my favorites that I sometimes forget about.... Oh, a rather amusing thing to be aware of, Corvus Corax's Grey Wolf for Catz (Canis lupus is the actual file name), if you breed it while you have the Canis lupus dog breed in your Dogz folder, you will end up with VERY weird looking kittens, & depending on what you do immediately after they are born, they will either stay VERY weird looking or return to normal. An example might be my Goat Dane file. It was never released as a breed but is available for request/trade.
