I went trout fishing in a local river today and I caught one 7 inch rainbow trout. Sounds tiny but it's big enough to eat! It's not a meal in itself though... Anyone here have tips on how i could catch more then 1 a day? XD
What I used : I know fly fishing is said to be best but i can't afford that kind of rod, I just use the one i have (not made for fly fishing). I used earthworms on a normal hook, and i had 1 lil shiny medal thing above it.
I think the time of day/tide might have something to do with it too? I used to fish for flounder; so i know how to fish, but I'm a newb at trout fishing. ^w^;

I have no idea about trout fishing, but a 7 inch fish could make a meal if you bake it and eat it with greens and potatoes.
