A friendly desert community where the sun is hot, the moon is beautiful, and mysterious lights pass overhead while we all pretend to sleep. Hello listeners, to start things off I've been asked to make this topic. Here we will discuss Night Vale, the mysterious podcast which I personally feel blends Mystery Falls and The Nozzle Scene from Venture Brothers, among other things. Its an interesting little podcast/radio show, that if you listen to npr, you'll feel a similar air about it, but its local and everyone seems to mind their own business and treat the happenings as normal. I like that there's been some plot development as opposed to just "this town is super weird but it's all good" I'm really interested to see where the plot is going to go now that some issues have been somewhat resolved but new ones are rising in their stead |

i have to thank you loverian for introducing me and my boyfriend to this show. i love it, listen to it every time a new one comes out, it helps me sleep at night and cecil's voice is so soothing it just knocks me out straight away i personally love the story and where things are going right now. our god is not a smiling god |
