I've talked about these guys quite a bit in my bibbles - I even posted four of them before their proper release. Well, I've refined them now, and they're ready to move into whatever aquatic area you have open for them.
The Coral Reef ChiChi Norns are now available at the Realm! They need to be underwater to breathe, but they're also very social and very colorful. If your oceans need some color, they just might be what you're looking for!

I'll have to give these little guys a try, I'm curious what colors they will change into.
How long do you think these little guys would live out of water? Because if I recall, without some modification or something, eggs won't hatch in water. |

I'm guessing if you didn't want any modifications, and you had a metaroom like the AquaNornia revamp, you could move the eggs up to the land area and then dunk them as soon as they hatch?

Ooh, these are heading for my aquatic world as soon as the current run is done... |

There is a cob that enables eggs to hatch underwater. Try looking on this site if its not here yet www.seeyou7.net and go to the creatures section, and then where is the agent? (sorry if posting links to other sites isn't allowed) Hope this helps! |

Off-site links are encouraged when they're very much related to a Creatures issue. The only time off-site links aren't really allowed is when they have potentially inappropriate content for our younger viewers.
I also put together a quick tutorial on how to edit the .cos files to allow underwater hatching over at Discover Albia. The method was first mentioned by Grendel Man and Malkin: I merely added more explicit steps to make it a little easier to understand!
EDIT: The agents that byebyebue mentioned above can be found here as the Water Eggs or Water Eggs Update.

As helpful as it is, it says the download is no longer available for the update. I hope it won't be buggy without an update. Thank you! |

Cute! I'll give them a try sometime if I decided to mess around with aquatic breeds. |
