While working on my genetic breed I got to thinking about instincts a bit more, and realized that almost every instinct has a slight/major reward to it. So I wondered how a Norn would react when it had an instinct, but no reward attached to that instinct. I know that instinctless Norns have been tested out before. But, I can't think of anyone who's stripped, most, of the reward from the instincts, though if they have then I'd love to hear about what happened.
Anyway, I immediately stopped working on my breed and made some Norns, both CFE and CFG. They still have the reward for sleeping and the navigational instincts, mostly because messing with them likely leads to very tired Norns who can't use lifts very well. I made the CFG version to see if they would react in a different way to the CFE Norns. I haven't tested them out yet, and probably won't get around to it for a few days. So anyone else way to try them out?
tl;dl: I made Norns with neutral instincts and want others to try them out.

I wish there was a norn who travelled more... i.e. a norn who is doubly rewarded to wander? To be honest my norns generally pick a (what should I call it?) 'Nesting' site and they rarely leave it. |

I have same feelings as byebyebue. Once they pick a nesting site then when they walk a few feet away, they are homesick! Little buggers. |
