Hi, so, I have been editing my C12DS norns genetic files to make them CFE, still got to do Ron, Santa and Grendels, however, I ran into a problem in that C12DS grendels have their sprites all shuffled (still didn't edit them), and sometimes, C12DS norns had floating heads in one of their poses, when i examined their genetics, i saw that all pose, gait and etc genes were set to mutate, while other breeds were not mutable, so, is that the problem or is it something else? also, is there a way to batch edit these genes to make them not mutable(edit all the pose genes at the same time)? there are like, 200 genes to edit per breed, and I don't have the time to edit all them T_T Thanks |

The sprites and floating issues are due to the .c16 files and .att files, not the genome.
I don't know if there is a way to batch edit all the pose genes - for the Ron and Santa breeds you could use a CFE Chichi genome and set the appearance to Ron and Santa without losing too much, I think.

So, the problem is with the c16 and .att files? Is that fixable? |

It is, but it takes a lot of work - you can see what Jessica's been doing with the sprite and att files at Discover Albia for C1.

It's a long ways off in the future, but all of the Norn and Grendels fixes I'm creating for Creatures 1 will eventually be ported over to C2 and C3/DS! It takes a lot of work to make the fixes, yet my guess is that it might be less time-consuming just converting the C1 fixes, rather than starting from scratch in C2 and C3/DS.
