| Making separate population limits? | |

Hello, i was wondering if there is a way to make a population limit for each metaroom, it's because i like to set the population limit to around 20 and have 2 or three separate groups of norns in different metarooms, but since some breeds reproduce much faster than others, these fast breeds tend to flood their rooms with norns while the slower breeds struggle to have offspring.
Then, in the crowded rooms, the norns begin to slap themselves and i hate that. So, someone thinks this is even possible? |

Should be not too hard to make. The breeding script checks all creatures in the world using TOTL.
Instead of using TOTL you just had to write a small script which stores the metaroom the mating pair in question is in, ENUMerates through all creatures and only counts them if their metaroom ID matches.
That'd probably would not even need much of a rewrite. Allocate the TOTL line(s) and replace it/them with your script which just would be a few lines long.
Check out the GMAP command, it is ideal for that purpose.

I don't know. You could try the CAOS Chaos in the resources section of CCaves.
I personally learned by disassembling and changing cosfiles and by bothering more experienced coders via PM
