After many months in development (often due to my own time constraints and distractedness), I am very pleased to release the Beta Version of the Updated C1 Male Baby Norns! All sprites and body data files have been updated, which should improve appearances, gaits, and poses. Although only one life stage is available for the male Banana Norns at this point, feedback on how these work in-game would be most appreciated! Enjoy!
Although this is labeled as a beta version, a good deal of testing has already been done. Extra testing is just to ensure that nothing has been missed, and to make sure that the general body data can be ported over to the rest of the breeds. Thanks to everyone who takes the time to test these out!

Wow, very exciting and cool! Congrats! I can't help test it or tell you my thoughts as I don't currently have C1 anymore though.

Very nice, Jessica: I can tell from just looking at the preview that these updated sprites will be a vast improvement! A must have for any C1 die-hard! |

Thank you both! No worries, Karias: What happened to your C1, if I might ask? There's always GOG.com, but I know that's not always possible for everyone. I'm sure I'll find a bunch of testers to make sure I didn't goof up somewhere!
Laura: I'm hoping to finally get myself moving with these. The other six male baby breeds are all set, thankfully. I just need to ensure that this body data works, and then they'll be ready in no time! I'm thinking the female babies will be next... And then it gets murky because I'll have to work on entire life stages from scratch. However, at least the babies will get to look nice and cute to start with!

Haven't had it for many many years, plus if C2 gives me trouble these days I'd assume it might as well. Who knows though, but perhaps I should try GOG.

Actually, C2 is possibly the most buggy in the entire series. Though C1 is the oldest, I've typically found it to be extremely reliable and stable. GOG usually has a sale on the Creatures titles a few times a year, but they're focusing on different genres lately. Might not hurt to wait, yet the full price of $5.99 is still well worth it!
This screenshot should also show the main update for the Banana Norn: No more bright pink face! It's a very subtle difference, but I was a tad bit OCD with fixing things like that! I can't wait to show off the other breeds... Just did a count, and found out that they all involve 882 individual bitmap files. Goodness!

This will be quite useful! There might not be much but I'm happy you released the beta. I'll use it if I start a C1 world (My old one crashed). Editing sprites must be hard, maybe you could ask for a little help? |

I've had a couple of offers from people who wanted to help, but stubborn me has turned them all down so far. Of course I've regretted it at times! Ha ha! However, I have to say that as daunting as this project was (and still is) I've learned much more about spriting than I thought possible. It's a great way to learn about creating breeds: Maybe I'll have my own unique one to release someday!
