Engugrun hatched from his egg. He looked about at this strange place, blinking in the sunlight. His twin sister, Wesela, looked at him. "Grah!" She said. Engugrun noticed some norns playing about, throwing food at each other. "Woolfa push food!" A little grey norn said. "Fohmadastomi push!" Exclaimed another. Engugrun stared at these massive things. "Bibble push!", "Biscen come norn!," "Me boop push dis!", "Hwenden coo grendel!", "Push nown!", "Begern get yes no drink!", "Norn yes get drink.". Engugrun felt overwhelmed. Then another voice joined the babble: "Meego narg!". Then "Grassena like Begern.". Then a grendel voice! Engugrun felt happy, here was something familiar "Enku grah blip Urrh!". Engugrun ran towards this grendel voice, and stopped short! This grendel was huge! It didn't even look like him and his sister! This world was too strange! Wesela came to him, and pulled him out of the throng. This was better! Engugrun felt enormously happy. Then he saw a honeypot. He squeaked in terror, it was as big as him! A norn came, and picked it up! Engugrun felt immensely happy as he was exported. No more huge stuff!

Aw, what a cute story! It's nice to see Grendels being written about in a positive light for a change. I'd love to read more about tiny Engugrun's adventures; is there going to be another chapter? |

Great story! May I suggest splitting it into paragraphs so its a little easier to read? |

I have decided to write a sequel after all! I am writing much bigger stuff now usually, and not about norns much anymore, but I like Engugrun.
The Tiny Grendel Again
Engugrun felt a whizz of air whoosh past him, and then he was standing by a massive lift! He looked anxiously around, he was in the huge place again! A massive white thing came up. "Ettina get grendel" she said, and picked him up! Engugrun was terrified! He struggled, but the ettin's grip was tight. "Fig bleh!" He cried desperately.
The ettin carried him for a long while, and when she finally put him down, they were underground! Ettina dropped Engugrun on a pile of odd bits and pieces of machinery, and pottered off.
Engugrun pulled himself up, and looked wildly about. There where ettins about all over the place, fiddling with machinery. He climbed off the pile and hurried to a little corner, where he hid. Engugrun peered round the computer he was hiding behind, anxiously. Then he turned. What was this? A little, tiny glass box, marked "Tiny World", and furnished to look like a miniature Albia. Inside, Engugrun saw a tiny, thin gangly creature, covered with short, rich chocolatey-brown fur, and with short, neat little ears, seated at the console of a machine. Beside the strange creature was a large, black bag. Engugrun thought "What a lovely place! Everything is just the right size in there!"
He opened the door and went inside. This was wonderful! Engugrun gave a little jump of pleasure, and then the strange creature at the machine console turned and said "what's going on?" Quite irritably.
Engugrun looked at him. He looked at Engugrun. "Well! Great grendels! I thought all my tiny grendel eggs died!"
"Grah?" Asked Engugrun curiously.
"Is there a female the same size as you?"
"Wesela."
"Hmm." Said the shee.
He returned to his console, and pressed a button. An image of Wesela popped up onto a screen. She was in a huge room, filled with norns. They where playing with her, using her as a toy! Engugrun felt angry. They were using his sister as a toy! Poor Wesela! Then the shee opened a blue device, set the coordinates on it, and dived into it. A few moments later, the shee returned, with Wesela.
Wesela and Engugrun were happy. This world was all the right size! Nothing was too big! One day, the shee came by their little room, filled with musical instruments, and saw a little egg, sitting quietly in a corner. He smiled to himself, and went on, to get to his tea-and-biscuit dispenser.
