Hi everyone, I need someone who dabbles in genetics to give me a hand. I'm pretty sure poses are handled by genomes? I just want norns that sleep standing up, instead of laying down to sleep like normal norns. It sounds simple enough on paper... but can it be done? If it's too complex to be done, or would cause too many problems, that's ok. It's not the most vital part; but it would really add to the breed's sense of completion.  Twitt Stuff Insta Arts |

Hmm, I'm no expert on poses, but have you tried looking at the genome in the Genetics Kit, looking at the ID for the standing poses and replacing the sleeping poses with them? |

It might also be a case of which game you're playing. I know that in C1, Norns/Grendels can randomly fall asleep standing up (and sometimes moving about) though they typically sleep while laying down. I've never seen this in C3/DS, but maybe I just haven't played enough! C-Rex's suggestion sounds about right! I'm just wondering if there is some sort of code/script that might override these poses, as illustrated in C1. Hopefully it works, though! |
