I've been in the Creatures Community a little while now, and already it's become a big part of my life. It feels as though this is the first time I've found somewhere that I actually belong. I've found amazing Creature care tips, help for technical issues, and met some of the nicest people! To commemorate, I have decided to launch Project Teddy! ![[ngrin] [ngrin]](/images/smilies/emot_grin.gif)
Named in honor of my very first Norn, (who was named after my freak obsession with bears when I was little) Teddy, I will be sewing a good number Norndolls over the next year. I will post as each one is completed, creating my very own little Norn community. However, a community isn't much fun if you can't share it with friends! So there will be many chances to receive a hand made Norndoll of your very own, completely free of charge. This is my way of saying thanks to all the wonderful people of the Creatures community!
So keep your eyes peeled for future updates!
Edit: Just a notice, the system I've devised for the Norndoll giveaway is random and will take place throughout the entire year. I will warn everyone in advance that this project will take a long time to complete, and that numbers are limited. I sew as I please, as to not stress myself out.
However, as I post each completed Norndoll, I will announce the lucky member of the CC who wins it! Keep watch, you could get on of the first! ![[ngrin] [ngrin]](/images/smilies/emot_grin.gif)
Important Notice! While the dolls themselves are free of charge, I'm afraid you must pay shipping fees. I can't afford to pay them myself. I'm sure it won't be too much trouble, considering the amount of work that goes into these little guys. They're still free, just pay shipping!

This is a lovely idea, LilyNorn; I won't be surprised if you get many people offering your Norndolls new homes (myself included)! I can't wait to see some updates.
This takes me back to when Data used to make his own Norndolls (and some more here) for community members back in the day. |

Why thank you Laura! I'll say this now, I'm taking recommendations for breeds, any official C3/DS breed! Any recommendations? ![[nsmirk] [nsmirk]](/images/smilies/emot_smirk.gif)

This is the most adorable and kind idea ever!
Requests? Oh man, if you could make a Gargoyle Norndoll I'd be just squeeing! 8D

Why thank you!
I'm not actually taking any requests, just suggestions. And unfortunately, for the time being I can only do official breeds. Terribly sorry luv.

What a great idea LilyNorn, and how generous that you're giving them out for free! I'd love to suggest a Magma Norn plushie. |

*wonders if LilyNorn is aware of how much international shipping charges can be*

Ohh, believe me, I'm quite familiar with international shipping charges. Mum's run a jewelry business for years. I believe she mentioned something about being more expensive to ship within Canada than to ship out of Canada. Which is why I'm spanning the project over the whole year. ![[nsunglasses] [nsunglasses]](/images/smilies/emot_sunglasses.gif)
Also, mum's got boxes and boxes of fabric and thread, so supplies are plentiful.

Just a little something I forgot to say before, you can suggest any colors/patterns in addition to the official breeds! I can also do both the classic Norndoll tail and fluffy tails, as well as adding cheek fur and simple hair! Who knows, maybe I could try my hand at an Ettin! ![[ngrin] [ngrin]](/images/smilies/emot_grin.gif)

I would just be tickled pink if Fishing Cactus caught word of this, it would make my entire year!

The noses are a success! Just ordered one hundred noses. Sure hope they arrive soon! Now all that's left is beans and the right fabric, and I can get started on the first to be sent into the community!

I love this idea, Lily! I'm looking forward to seeing your project come to life. I've sometimes thought of trying to make my own Norndoll, though I fear it would turn into some muddled mess. Ha ha! Good luck with this awesome project!

My apologies, I misunderstood. I'd love to see a Bengal Norndoll then, as a recommendation!
Good luck, and yay for getting those noses!
