Strangeo Forum Pancake    Wee Scrivener Trell        1/9/2013 This is a bit of a mild rant/story, so brace yourselves. Everything I've tried to do today has just blown up in my face, every time. It doesn't matter what I do, it's all gone wrong. But this was the last straw. The final blow that sent me over the edge. Since I'd already had such a fantastic day, and wasn't quite feeling myself, I decided to go and work on my genetic breed project to destress. I sat down with a cup of croutons and got to work. Everything was going alright, I started up a new DS standalone solely for my genetic labs, and added a single female Fallow Norn to keep me company while I tinkered away. I named her Pancake. Oh, she was the most endearing Norn I've ever hatched..! As I was borking around with the usual Glycotoxin immunities and such, I noticed a sudden change in the background music and that horrible sound of a Norn's moan. Thankfully, she was not dead. She was only starving, and a quick Ctrl-Shift-E to give her a bit of a meal, and she was okay again. She turned to the screen and said "Pancake like Libby" and "Me happy". She always had such a big happy look on her face, especially when I gave her a bouncy ball to keep her occupied when I went to work at the pigment genes. After I'd finished with the genome, I tried to inject the egg into the world to test it out. It gave me some sort of error and I panicked. I probably clicked the Lay Egg button enough to break the Genetics Kit, and in my panic, accidentally clicked the Remove Selected Norn button. Pancake was gone, and there was nothing I could do to bring her back. In my haste and stupidity, I deleted the best Norn I'd ever had. And I'll never see her again. So now, I've saved the edited Genome, and will continue to perfect it in honor of dear Pancake. I've decided to call it the Pancake Project. This could possibly be the worst day I've had in a long time... Oh gosh, I need tea right now something awful... Trell "Holy crap in a casket!"   c1anddsaddict   1/9/2013 That really sucks. If not, you can open the caos command line, type just the word quit, and it will quit without saving. Hopefully, upon reopening the world, Pancake will still be there. And now, I get an error that says her GEN file exceeds some limit and I can't open it, and it also says that there isn't enough space on the computer to safely run DS. Then you can put the .agents file this makes in your My Agents folder, and it will show up in Muco. Hope this helps!
