Hi,
I downloaded the spritebuilder however I see that you can only convert initial bitmap files to c16/s16 files but I don't have a program that saves in 0.bmp formats. I then tried to download C16 tools from here but it just wont run and the GIMP plugins don't work either. Could it be that they're not compatible with windows 7? Is there another way that I can convert png images to c16/s16 sprite files? I'm a noob at this >.<

Search for a program called Jagent. It'll do. |

You must be using a Mac as Microsoft Paint can open png and save as bmps. Basic GIMP can also save as bmp. Once in bmp you can copy and past into the SpriteBuilder.

You can just copy the frames straight from SpriteBuilder and paste them in your graphics program, edit them, and then copy-paste them back. You might need to tweak a few settings before copying them back in, but there's really no need to save them in BMP format at all.
You can even choose Cut -> Automatic Uncut to Clipboard and it will copy the entire file's contents to your clipboard... and "Automatic Cut" will split them up again when you re-import them.
