I love C1toDS, but there is this one tiny issue that has caused me annoyance. Okay so its not really an issue so much as its an OCD like tick I am having. The C1toDS toolbar is one of those agents that stays posted on the screen, like the Advanced Auto Saver agent. Unlike the Advanced Auto Saver agent the toolbar exists in a background layer that covers up the tool-tip bubble (like from the favorite places icons.) I figured it must be an easy thing to tweak because it has to just be a single number in some part of an agent file somewhere, like just setting it to display right behind the tool-tip bubbles. I have tried running the CHAOS and PRAY tools but I have no idea what I am doing, and they don't seem to work very well with GoG exodus although I have run the remastered patch. Any help (or cookies) in regard to this "insignificant" matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

You might find it easier to use Jagent to decompile the C12DS agent - I wrote a tutorial on how to use it here.

wow thanks! I split the agent apart and I found the .cos file for the toolbar, I have looked through it and think I recognize some of the commands and functions. I am not sure what I am looking for though in terms of the command or values for where the agent sits in the background layers on the screen though. Any ideas?
** I did just learn some of the in-game CAOS commands, so now I can remove the agent to get rid of some clutter, It would be neat to fool around with the values though in the .cos file, who knows maybe I can teach myself some scripting and make my own agents at some point (...not holding my breath...) = D **

Have you generated your DS Categorical list? Look at the entries for 'new: simp' and 'new: comp' - you want to change the plane that the toolbar occupies in relation to the tooltips.

If you ever need to change the plane in a particular (existing) agent, you can do this sort of thing on a case by case basis by using the PLNE command.
