In the year 2000, after C3 and pre-DS, a model of human behaviour was published in a journal, which competed with the traditional 'fight or flight' theory.
In it, there was another way of coping with extreme stress: looking after children, blending into the background, and making friends, particularly same-sex friends.

I wonder if it's possible to implement or simulate such a response in Creatures?
Given that all we can do with the creatures genome in terms of age-related trouble is fiddle with inbreeding, it might not be possible to implement a full 'tend and befriend' response.
It's fun to think about, though.
