Have you tried this CDN tutorial: Favourite Places in Docking Station? |

For what it's worth, I've done a search and found that Ghosthande posted a more concise explanation of the tutorial here - if that's of any further help. |

Lol, I did?
Yes, you use CAOS to add a favorite place signpost to your metaroom, but you only really need to change their tutorial script to use your classifier and image, and tell it where to appear in the world, and the game handles all the grittier details about how it functions. I think Laura's link covers most of the basics... it's the second-to-last post. If you're still having trouble after reading that I'd be happy to elaborate.

You only need to put it in My Documents, just for future reference.

Howcome it can find .c16s in My Documents but not .catalogue files? <grumble, grumble>

AFAIK it won't. I believe he means the Creatures Exodus directory inside My Documents.

I know. That's where my .catalogue files get installed. If I want the game to see them, I have to move them to the Creatures Exodus directory under Program Files.
I tried just reinstalling the whole thing under My Documents, but then Docking Station thought I didn't have C3.

Yeah, I think that was an oversight when they were updating things. Kind of annoying.

The catalogue files bug is the worst. It actually causes errors when injecting the quirky cookie machine, an official agent. |

Eventually I'll get sick of it and see if I can dust off enough of my old Windoze expertise to come up with a batch file or something to go look for catalogue files and move them...
...maybe.
