| Making norns more dependent? | |

Hey ya'll,
Gengineering is not something I'm even vaguely familiar with, so I don't know whether this has been explored much. I assume it has, so: what genetic experiments have been done to make norns less independent and more C1/C2 like?
Can anyone point me towards some breeds/genetic alterations that do this, apart from removing instincts (as I'm pretty sure instincts were part of C1/C2 as well)?

Disabling their sense of smell while leaving their traveling instincts might work. I haven't tried it, but it would make them unable to seek out food sources on their own. |

You could certainly start with finding out what the original C1 instincts were, and then stripping the C3/DS instincts back to that, (less the ones that don't make sense) plus navigation instincts.
Genornics might help a little?

I recently hatched some emerald and pixie norns in C3/DS...I don't know how C1/C2-like they were, since it's been years since I really played C1, and I never played C2...but they were awfully stupid compared to the ones I'm used to with C3/DS! They all pretty much starved to death when I got distracted working on agents and forgot to babysit them.

Another thing that might help is finding a way to prolong the pregnancy tenfold - from one minute to ten minutes, and have there be a recovery period where the females are sterile. Every new egg would be harder to come by, and therefore more precious - and the mothers would feel the effects of pregnancy more.
P.S.: Geek2Nurse, try the CFE C2 Norns?
