Hi,
Has anyone got any idead on how to implement the WEAR command in C3/DS? I know I have got it to work before, but I am talking when the game first came out, so can't remember how I did it!
Any help if most welcome. |

Yes, I wrote a tutorial about it on Creaturetopia. If you're referring to the santa hat, I deconstructed that agent when I was figuring out how clothing worked.
Bear in mind, most of the more recent comments in that thread are actually me reporting bugs and limitations to the command as I find them. Mostly through experimentation--I've got a little dressing room in my next metaroom where creatures can play dressup.

Thanks for the reply, but sadly I don't think I have a creaturetopia login, and the register ability seems to be disabled.
I have got the command to work in part, though I can't quite figure out the naming conventions for the overlays. It looks the same as bodypart naming, though it seems not to work the same (as in I thought set b would be set 2 in the command, though it seems not!) |

You need a login to view posts?
I'm in the process of converting it into regular tutorial format anyways. Give me a sec and I'll post a link.
[edit] here. I haven't quite finished formatting the code snippets, but I'm sure you get the idea.
For sets, like sprites, the "first" is number 0, the "second" is number 1, etc., so try picking the next lowest number.

Cheers...the tutorial helped me figure it out, but the system isn't as robust as I would have hoped. The lack of ability to name files limits it somewhat, but I am sure I can make something work! |

Yeah... not to mention the inability to specify breed slots for clothing.
