I'm planning on making a movable version of the agent that stimulates the C3 fauna/flora at the push of a button (such as adding more hoppities or grazers). I'm most likely going to edit the .cos files of the original agent directly and make new sprites. Any tips on how I should go about this?

Doesn't the ecology kit have this function (or something similar)?

I was under the impression the Ecology kit merely replinished the ecology in which it was in. I'm hoping to be able to transplant the norn/ettin/grendel ecology into a seperate metaroom (such as the Biodome or Random's Room, with the right conditions of course)

Ahh, I see -- well, over at CreatureTopia Amaikokonut is working on something that will do exactly this and more, so if you're a bit patient it looks pretty amazing.
Otherwise this is mostly straightforward to do; the hard bit will be figuring out how all of the various buttons etc interact with the agent. If you can get that figured out with new sprites...

This looks interesting. I once tried to "introduce" the Grazers from the Norn Terrarium into the Norngarden, but they soon all died out because there wasn't any grass, and adding grass is impossible because the seeds are so tiny. |

@Liam: I haven't been over to Ctopia for awhile, I'll go check it out.
@C-rex: This is exactly why I wanted to make such an agent. I usually go through this complicated process of making grass carry-able and cloning it several times

Actually, it's only *almost* impossible. I spent a couple of hours the other night determinedly plucking at minuscule specks in the vicinity of Norn Garden grass. 90% of them were imaginary, or flecks of dust on my screen, and at least once a norn ate the seed out of my hand just when I finally managed to grasp it, but I eventually actually managed to get it growing in the desert, Biodome, and Veridia. Now I have thriving herds of grazers (except in the desert, where I keep having to replenish all the critters after I leave the game running for a day or two), and am trying to figure out how to keep the Gosh Hawks alive in those areas.
