Since I have all the artistic ability of an amoeba, I'm going to need to have someone else make sprites for me whenever I want to make an agent. So I decided to make this topic where I and other coders without spriting ability can request images for this, that, and the other thing. A few rules I'm going to follow (not sure about anyone else): 1. No breed sprites. This is for agents only. 2. If I get images from someone, I'm going to want to pay them back. As such, if that someone needs genetics or coding work done, I'm going to offer my assistance in that matter. With that said, here's the request list: ------ Current Requests None at the moment. ------ Resolved Requests Techno-Organic Carrot - Done by mea. ------ If you're someone who needs sprites for some project, or if you're someone who is willing to make sprites for any project listed here, then go nuts. So basically, you want a photoshopped or 3d rendered version of the carrot from this? Cool idea, I quite like the Metallophagus Grendels. |

This line kind of confuses me -'The seeds otherwise look like larger, mechanical versions of the standard DS carrot.' The seeds are suppose to be larger than the DS carrot? That seems awfully big for just a seed... Just how big are you wanting the full grown carrots to be then? Huge? Or are the seeds suppose to be bigger than the full grown plant? |

Okay, I should have clarified a bit there. What I should have said was "the seeds otherwise look like larger, mechanical versions of the standard DS carrot's seed." The DS carrot seed is a tiny black sphere that gets dropped from eaten DS carrots. The seed of the techno-organic carrot resembles that, except larger, more detailed, and mechanical-looking. Okay, thanks for the clarification. I've never noticed the DS carrot seeds before, I didn't even know that they had seeds, so it never occurred to me that was what you were referring to. I'll see what I can do sprite wise, but I might not get to it for a day or two. The next few days might be a bit busy for me. |

I haven't needed this topic for a while, but now that mea rarely comes around anymore my lack of artistic ability has once again become a hindrance. So I decided to bump it up and see if I can get any other bites. I also decided to change the thread title; this thread was originally intended for anyone to request sprites, but the original title just made it seem like it was for me and me alone. Hopefully the new title seems less exclusive. Anyway, onto my new requests: I need some sprites for some agents included with the breeds I'm working on for the CCSF. Both things will be for C3/DS. The first breed comes with a single agent. It's a seed box that drops flower seeds. These seeds grow up to become permanent flowers that can be played with and picked up, and will throw out non-growing seeds for creatures to munch on. For this, I'd need sprites for: *The seed box. The way this works is that the hand needs to pick it up to make it drop seeds (as opposed to just clicking on it like most vendors). *The seeds. These should be small but visible, but beyond that they just need to match the flowers. *The flowers. These should be brightly colored ala the flowers from Creatures Village, and it'd be nice if they had a bunch of different varieties as well. Beyond that I'm not picky as to what kind of flower they are. **The flowers grow on any type of soil. They're permanent and therefore won't die normally, but if picked up and placed on anything other than soil they'll die. They're also edible in and of themselves; the top gets bitten off and will eventually regrow provided the flower's left alone in the meantime. The second breed comes along with a full pack in the same manner as the official breed packs. However, beyond that I'm still not sure what this breed's going to be just yet. If whoever decides to help me with the flowers also wants to help me with this (assuming anyone helps me at all), I'll let them know the details on this once I come up with them.
