This is just a sci-fi story that I thought of when I was bored. Please note that this story isn't complete yet, and that it needs some finishing touches. This is the first part so far - Enjoy!
Sometime on a weekend of 2021, a boy called Pete found an odd looking square disk along with a vintage computer in the attic of his Grandfather's house. He couldn't see the label, because it was marked with "Damaged".
After thinking about what it was, he took it to his father, which was a computer scientist. When Pete was back at home, he immediately asked his father. His father told him that it was a floppy disk and that the data on it may be unreadable these days, but that he could check if some data was recoverable the next day. Pete was disappointed, but at the same time he couldn't wait. At the end of the day he went to bed.
On Sunday, he was surprisingly enough already awake in the early morning. His mother made breakfast, but that didn't bother him. His father found a floppy disk drive that could be used to read the floppy disk. Father inserted the floppy in the drive. It began spinning, and at the same time a message appeared at the screen. "Reading disk, please wait a moment...", said the message. After a few seconds the drive was making some weird sounds, and then this appeared at the screen: "Reading complete, nonfatal errors occurred. Disk name: Creatures Digital DNA". "Well, that sounds good", said Pete's father.
To be continued...
Comments are appreciated.

So, in other words after the CC had died, someone finds a creatures game and restarts it? Sounds good to me.... |

Here’s another short summary of the things I've been thinking of last night.
Pete found an odd looking disk somewhere in the attic of his grandfather’s house. He didn't know what it was so he asked his father about it, which is an computer scientist. He said it was a floppy, and that he could check if there was data on it. The following day Pete's father inserted the disk into the drive, and the disk contained files of "Creatures Digital DNA". Unfortunately the files where corrupted due to their age, nonetheless father opened the files. The Grendels where born, causing problems at Father’s computer, Pete’s father prevented wanted to prevent further spreading of those "threats", but it was too late. Some files were already sent over the internet – causing problems in the digital world. But some files weren't corrupted, which became the friendly Norns.

I've picked up writing this story again. The second part is already done. I never knew I could write so comfortably in English, I'm proud of it! I plan on submitting it for the CCSF, but because English is my second language I need someone to proofread it to iron any errors out. If everyone wants to do this, I would be very thankful.
