I have a boxer dog called Roxy! I named my Wolfling run norn in the shee ark wolfling run after her ^~^
In her lifetime my dog has learned, sit, stay, ask, paw, other paw, lie down, and get up. She is a bit like a norn though as she won't always do what shes told lol. She also has had 5 puppies! I'll upload a picture of her in a while!
EDIT: My camera isn't working at the moment so I'll upload a picture soon! Also, I just taught her "get the ball"

I've locked the old Pets topic in favour of this new one.
If you guys are going to post large pictures of your pets, please could you either resize the images, (e.g. 320 x 240 pixels using ImageShack seems to work really well) or put them behind a link to avoid stetching the forum pages, and also to help keep page load times down.
If I remember to, I'll post some recent pictures of my animals later! |

No pictures yet, but I have a beagle like dog named Maxine who is 13 years old, two cats, a fluffy cream one named Milo, who's 12 years, a tabby-point Siamese named Sora, around 2 or 3 probably, we don't know her age, and two parakeets: Riko and Pearl. Riko's green and Pearl is white with some grey. They're 4 or 5.

This topic is as good a place as any to show off our new, twelve-week-old kitten, Matilda "Tilly" Rose.

She's a Ragdoll-cross-Tonkinese, with tortie point ears. Sorry if this isn't very clear from the picture, I took it using my phone. She's very timid at the moment, so I didn't want to push my luck and scare her with flash photography. I'll be taking some better pictures soon. |

Thanks Lembam.
She has a little bit of an attitude towards my other cat, Jasper, it seems! He's been sniffing her and appearing to try and be friendly, yet she keeps on hissing and growling at him. It's quite funny to watch, because he just completely backs off, as if to say "Sod that." A right little Queen of Sheba she is!
I wonder if she's going to end up ruling the roost? lol. |

Aww Laura, she's beautiful! She looks rabbit-soft, too.
I can't have any pets in this apartment, but I recently found some baby pictures of my cats and bird.
Tohey and Ana first come home.
Ana takes in her new home.
Tohey playing with the door.
Tohey plays make-believe. This is one of my favorite pictures of her.
Ana being adorable, which was never an unusual occurrence.
Ana trying to climb a leg.
Can you tell Ana is cute?
Proof that my cat really does eat bananas.
Our gorgeous male cat, Keef.
Another picture of Keef.
Everybody together. As you can see, Keef lost his lovely mane along with the rest of his baby fur, but it eventually grew back.
Ana loved lying all over my stuff. And chewing my books--you just can't see the teeth marks from here.
I have few surviving pictures of Leda. She was a house sparrow we rescued as a baby and hand-raised. She was very tame and loved nestling in our hands (as shown), stealing pens off our desks and landing on our heads. Ultimately, though, she was still a wild bird, and when her real family called we didn't stop her from rejoining them.
I still miss them all a lot.

Aw, Ghosthande you have some stunningly adorable pets - thanks for sharing! I can understand why you miss them so much. Do you still get to visit them?
And yeah, Tilly is very, very fluffeh. I wish there was a way of showing you just how soft her coat is. She is starting to worry me though. I'm not sure whether this is normal kitten behaviour, but she hid herself underneath our sofa for hours this afternoon and into the evening. My mum had to get her out in the end. I'm hoping that she'll settle in fine, and that she just hid for so long because this is a strange, new environment for her. |

At the moment I have
Four Kittens:
Neo - White with black spots
Felix - Black and white
Princess - White with tortoiseshell markings
My Kitten Ember (Emmy) - Tortoiseshell
A black and white cat called Jenny (also the mother of the kittens)
A mongrel named Zack
By the way Laura, Matilda is gorgeous! I love her big, blue eyes!

Thanks Laura.
Unfortunately I haven't been able to visit my kitties, since the lady who is keeping them is in California and I'm in Florida. Hopefully I'll get a chance to do so soon, before they forget me. My mother was able to visit about a month ago, and took one of my socks to give to them. Guess it will have to do for the time being.

C-Rex: Thanks and wow, that's a lot of kittens you have! How do you keep up with them all?
Ghosthande: From one kitty lover to another, I really do hope you get to visit them soon! Hopefully your sock is serving as the perfect surrogate Ghosthande for now. When I went away to university, Jasper was known to use my pajama top as bedding to sleep on. I think cats do notice when we're gone. |

I hope so too.
Believe me I can imagine how soft Tilly must be! I took care of a friend's Ragdoll, Little Bean, while he was out of the country for a couple years. She was softer than a rabbit--but a bit prissy. Sometimes we called her "Little Queen". Who knows, Tilly may very well end up being a little queen, too!
Tohey was very shy when we first got her and hid for a long time, too. We found out she was coming out more often after we'd gone to bed, when she felt safe. Eventually she settled in though.

C-Rex: They must love that. I don't know how my dad would react if Tilly started ripping up his expensive rug.
Ghosthande: Ah, I'm relieved to see that Tohey hid like this too. It must be very normal. Tilly seems a little more comfortable today; she's eaten some breakfast and has set up a new camp under the bed in my parents' bedroom. I went to check on her just now and in the absence of any people Tilly's emerged from under the bed and, by the looks of it, has eaten some more food and used her litter tray.
I love Ragdolls. They're so floppy and docile when you pick them up. |

Aww, your new kitten looks very cute, Laura! Also, sorry for the wait on the picture, all this schoolwork is leaving me really sidetracked.
Those cats are really cute too, Ghosthande. I know I'll miss my pets when I go off to a university in Illinois eventually. Very far from where I am, Florida.
We got a new budgie, named Skye, to keep our older one Pearl company, but sadly Pearl died recently, and now it's just Skye. She's a beautiful blue and white one.

Thanks Panda-mist, I'll hopefully be able to take some better pictures soon; the one I posted of her doesn't do her justice at all. Also don't worry, I can completely relate to how schoolwork can snow you under!

Thank you both. I'm really getting attached to her! It's so cheering to watch her play and do the mad things that kittens do after being shy for so long. Of course she'll never replace Rodney, but Tilly has given our home a new lease of life after all the sadness.

I'v got my cat Angel she is a tabby/Bengle cross she is a real softie when you get to know her but the look she gives new people is Hilerius it's like she's saying "and who are you? whoever you are go away" She dose it to evreyone and she stares at people too and loves to talk (well meyow) But I meyow back and have confersations I got her as a kitten and she loved the setee we used to race eachother to the setee seat due to her loving a paticular spot. She looks like a bengle but you can see the tabby in her I havn't got a picture of her but I will get one (sorry for the long post)

At my dad's there are 5 pets. (no pics sorry!)
There are 2 unsocial black cats, Shadow and Maul, that mostly hang out in the back room and outside.
There's a 3rd cat, Pookie, that's a half inside half outside cat. He has the most adorable fur pattern ever! But he keeps getting into fights...
And the 4th cat is my own kitten, Winterfoot. He's over 3 months old. His claws are SUPER sharp and they HURT! (But we love him anyway).
And lastly, we have a dog, Max. He's mostly only obedient when you have a treat. But if you do, you can tell him to sit and stay and take a walk around the house and he'll stay there!
Don't forget. Always, somewhere, someone is fighting for you. As long as you remember her, you are not alone. |

I remember when my two cats were kittens and hiding under the cupboard before exploring the strange new world they found themselves in.
They are both Turkish Vans, so they love water. They are brother and sister- the male is ginger and brown striped, and is named Ernest. The female is named Ishkin (Hungarian for princess) and is, in true Turkish Van style, white, with a black and brown striped tail, has black and brown spots on her head, and a single spot on her back, which is called the Touch of Allah.
I also have a grey (quite a bit rarer than white) Shih-Tzu named Ari. She is actually a a subtle blend of black, grey, silver, white, and foxy red.
